Interest groups
Bits n Pieces:

This is a craft group that gathers
together for mutual support and fellowship. It meets on Thursday afternoons, in Dean More Hall, St Columba, from
14pm. Activities include needlework, patchwork and banner making. Members are
willing to teach skills and techniques in this area. Newcomers are welcome. The craft
group also makes articles for charity organisations. Afternoon tea is provided. For

Women's Breakfast:
Women in this group meet for fun, food and
fellowship. It meets on the first Saturday, every second month, at 7.45am, in Dean More
Hall. Activities include inspiring guest speakers and a sumptuous breakfast. Members are
asked to contribute $4.00 for the meeting, which includes a cooked breakfast and brewed
coffee. Newcomers are most welcome. Advance booking is essential. Let the Parish Office
know at least four days in advance, or place your name on the sheet in the Church Foyer.

Men's Club:
This Club has been running for over 25 years. The
Club meets for fun, food and fellowship on the third Friday of the month in Dean More
Hall, St Columba, from 7pm (for a 7.30 start) to 9.30pm. Membership is $5 and members are asked to contribute
$10 per gathering. Activities include an excellent meal with drinks, discussion on current
events, and guest speakers. Newcomers are welcome. To attend, please let the Parish Office
know, at least one week in advance.

Boys Night Out:
An informal gathering of men for fun
and fellowship. This group is organised on an ad-hoc basis. Activities usually include an
outing to a local restaurant.
Young Adults and Singles:
An occasional group that meets for a
meal at a local eating place from time to time.
Churches Together in Stirling:
A gathering of representatives
from the various denominational churches in this part of the City of Stirling. This group
meets on the first Monday of the month, beginning February. Participants share a meal,
which is followed by the meeting. At this meeting, group members share aspects of their
respective parish or congregational life and cooperate on events of mutual interest.
