Worship groups

 Choir:

The choir sings at the
9am Sunday service at St Columba’s, with a special item sung during communion.
The choir meets for practice on Sunday morning at 10.30am after the 9am service and morning tea at St Columba’s.

Lay Pastoral Ministers' Group:

Lay Pastoral Ministers are licensed to lead services, administer the bread and wine during communion,
preach (if their license is so endorsed) and otherwise assist the parish priest in pastoral duties.
This group meets for prayer & fellowship on the 1st Saturday of the month at 8am for morning prayer,
which is followed by a shared breakfast.


Sidespeople:

At the door to church services you are greeted and welcomed by Sidespeople. 
Apart from welcome, these people also fulfil a number of other vital duties before, during and after services in Church.

Sidespeople's roster.


Reader's Group & Intercessors:

Some members of the congregation are on a roster to read or to say Intercessions at the 7.30am or 9am Sunday services.
