Mission Action Plan

Key Ministry Areas

We have identified seven Key Ministry Areas for our mission focus. Each KMA has two coordinators who convene meetings and report progress to our Church Council.

The Key Ministry Areas are:

Worship
Covers all aspects of worship services, including the Multicultural Congregation, preaching, music, choir and the healing ministry.
Coordinators: The Ven Trevor Burt

Pastoral Care
Embraces Parish Pantry, Prayer Chain, ColumbaCare, Jumble Sale, and other pastoral care activities.
Coordinators: Ron Gepp, Marian Burt

Fellowship
Includes Mothers’ Union, Guild, Men’s Club, Women’s Breakfasts, Bits ‘n Pieces, young adults, newcomer’s lunch and our many morning tea and lunch functions.
Coordinators: Judith Goyder, Diana Whitford

Stewardship and resources
Involves anything to do with finances, fund raising, grounds, buildings, environment and history.
Coordinators: Deidre Young, Gwen Burgess

Spiritual Formation
Includes Companions in Christ, Lenten Study Groups and other learning groups and activities.
Coordinator: The Revd Canon Dr John Dunnill

Aged Care
Embraces ministry with the elderly, including services in Aged Care homes and home communions.
Coordinators: Rosemary Waters, Mike Young

Children’s Ministry
Covers all ministry with children and teens, including baptism preparation, Godly Play, and YouthCare.
Coordinators: Lyn Williams, Margaret Bunday
