Administration
Church Council:
This body is
elected or appointed by the parishioners and Parish Priest to conduct the business of the
Parish. The Council usually meets on the fourth Sunday of the month at 10.30am. Parishioners are
welcome to attend the meetings, but cannot speak unless invited to do so.
A summary of the monthly Church Council meeting is found in the
PC Digest.
The Council adopts policies from time to time. You can follow a list of
these policies by

Parish Executive:
This group comprises
the Parish Priest, the three Church Wardens and the Parish Treasurer, who meet between
Church Council meetings to attend to Parish business.
Fund Raising Committee:
This group meets for GST
purposes, as necessary. All fundraising activities in the Parish funnel through this
group, thus ensuring that GST is not unnecessarily paid on receipts and also ensuring that
GST is recovered on relevant expenditure items. For more information, please contact the
Treasurer.
Faith Giving Committee:
This committee gives
leadership in faith-giving (stewardship). We recognise that everything we have comes from
God through his incredible and overwhelming generosity and love. We are called to respond
through our generosity and love to God, giving of our time, talents, abilities and
resources to God for the work of Gods Kingdom.
The clergy and secretarial costs, maintenance of buildings and resources, outreach and
help for the needy are paid out of parishioners faith giving. Parishioners usually
make their contribution during the collection in the Sunday service.
Faith-giving envelopes are available, and direct-debit and Annual or quarterly gifts can
be made. The Faith-giving Year runs from October to September and a program of education
leads up to the new faith-giving year.
Commitment forms, along with details, are available. For additional information and for
sets of envelopes contact the Chairperson or Parish Treasurer.
